Electric by Ben

Yesterday I had the best day ever, here’s what happened. First of all, I woke up in my eco-friendly house, got into my suit and left the house. After that, I went into my electronic garage where I keep all my electric vehicles. “Should I use my electric bike, my electric car, my electric motorbike or my electric truck?” I asked myself. After a lot of decision making I picked my electric bike. I left the garage and went as fast as I could to the space station. I was going be the first astronaut to ever fly an eco-friendly space ship to Mars. But then the unexpected happened…

  1. What amazing work! I love how you have commented on what a sustainable future should look like in your story about a very lucky astronaut. It seems that you have a lot of electric means of transport, and I hope that one day we will be able to harness enough reusable energy to allow for this use of electricity. I would love to see an eco-friendly spaceship… How do you think they would get it off of the ground without burning fuel? Maybe we could make a super-strong spring and fling it into space.

Can’t wait to see more from you.

  2. Hello Ben,
You were able to share a story involving eco-friendly means of transport and certainly involving long distance travel. Electric vehicles, or perhaps hydrogen fuelled vehicles. would be much better for the environment. Well done.
Perhaps, when we do go to Mars, an eco-friendly spaceship would be a great idea.
